The contractor should provide and maintain adequate insurance coverage throughout the duration of the excavation project.
General Liability Insurance
The Contractor shall carry a commercial general liability insurance policy with a minimum coverage limit of $(insert coverage limit amount). This coverage shall protect against claims for bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury arising out of the excavation project.
Workers' Compensation Insurance
The Contractor shall provide and maintain workers' compensation insurance as required by applicable local laws and regulations. This insurance will provide coverage for on-site injuries to the contractor's employees or subcontractors during the course of the excavation project.
Automobile Liability Insurance

Amendments
If either party proposes any changes, it must be presented in writing. It must outline all of the proposed changes or additions to the project. The parties shall negotiate and agree upon their proposed project changes. These changes will only be valid when both parties have agreed in writing and signed the agreement, making it legally binding.
