Regardless of liability, it’s best practice for event planners to have appropriate insurance coverage to protect themselves should an injury occur at an event.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute or difference whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with, this Contract that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the Parties agree to engage in mediation. If the matter still cannot be resolved and legal action ensues, the successful party will be entitled to legal fees.
9. Severability
In the event that any provision of this Contract is voided or deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, in whole or in part, then that part shall be severed from the remainder of the Contract, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force in accordance with the Parties’ intention.
10. Legal and Binding Agreement
This Contract is legal and binding between the Parties in (country), and each Party represents that they have the authority to enter into this Contract.
11. Entire Agreement
This Contract contains the entire agreement and understanding among the Parties to it with respect to the Event described herein, and supersedes any and all prior agreements, understandings, inducements and conditions, express or implied, oral or written, of any nature whatsoever with respect to the Event. In the event that the Parties desire to modify, change, or add any terms to this agreement, an amendment will be made, and the written approval of both Parties will be obtained.
