This entertainment contract is entered into as of [Agreement.CreatedDate] by and between [Sender.FirstName][Sender.LastName], the Venue, and [Client.FirstName][Client.LastName], the Entertainer.
Performance Details
The Entertainer agrees to perform on [Performance.Date] at [Sender.FirstName][Sender.LastName], located at [Sender.Address].The show will be performed as follows:
Payment
The Entertainer shall be compensated a sum of [Payment.Amount] for their performance. The venue shall provide 50% no less than 7 days prior to the performance, and the remaining balance before the performance on [Performance.Date].
Cancellation
The Entertainer shall have the right to cancel the performance if the Venue fails to make payment as detailed above. The Venue may cancel at any time prior to [Performance.Date], but shall be liable half of the payment sum listed above regardless.
Force Majeure
Event cancellation due to circumstances beyond the Entertainer or Venue’s reasonable control, such as inclement weather, illness, or other extenuating circumstances, shall constitute legal cancellation of the performance, and the Venue shall still be liable for 50% of the sum listed in the payment section of this entertainment contract. The Venue and Entertainer may, at their discretion, choose to reschedule the performance if extenuating circumstances prevent the original performance from occurring.
Tickets to Entertainer
The Venue shall provide the Entertainer with [EntertainerTickets.Amount] tickets to be used at the Entertainer’s discretion.PDF page break
Parking & Facility Access
The Venue shall provide the Entertainer with reasonable parking accommodations as well as space within the venue to prepare and rehearse for their performance.
Safety & Security
The Venue agrees to take sufficient measures to ensure the health, safety, and security of the Entertainer and all performance attendees and staff.
Indemnification
The Venue agrees to indemnify and hold the Entertainer harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage, save for cases of the Entertainer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Binding Arbitration
Any disputes related to this entertainment contract shall be resolved by a neutral independent arbitrator, whose ruling shall be considered final and binding on all parties.
Riders
Any Riders attached to this entertainment contract shall be considered additional terms accepted by both parties.
